We will *always* be an afterthought. They will always do what’s best for England (particularly South East England), especially while it remains in the hands of the Tories, but even under a Labour government, things wouldn’t be all that different. When (not if) Scotland leaves the UK, Wales will have even less control over its own destiny than it does now. One day, the people of North East Wales will snap out of the Stockholm Syndrome and realise just how poorly Westminster thinks of Wales. We are a resource for them to use. That’s all we will ever be. I just hope it’s not too late by the time we finally wake up.

[quote quote=131814]Could Wrexham muster only 1 protester? Poor showing, no eggs either……times are very hard.

There was more than 1 protestor. You could hear them when May weaseled away in her car after the event. Only one got arrested, possibly unwarranted. He was a bit stupid to use the words “Kill May”, but I doubt he actually posed a threat to the PM – otherwise he wouldn’t have been released without charge later.

I’m disappointed with Cllr Hugh Jones’ continual attempts to deflect the issue with claims that the pictures are out of date. You only have to go anywhere near the College, the bus station or Lord Street any day of the week to see that the pictures shown in the national media are pretty much exactly what is happening today.
