Wrexham Football Club have teamed up with Eagles Meadow to launch their new Adidas shirt for 2012-2013.

Wrexham.com was the first local media outlet to bring you pictures of the kit last month.

The superb new Adidas home shirts have already had their seal of approval from the entire first team squad and fans will now get the opportunity to purchase a new shirt in time for the first game of the season v Woking on Saturday.

Home shirts will be available in a range of sizes and the shop in Eagles Meadow will be open daily from 9.30am until 6pm from Wednesday until Friday and on Saturday 11th August until 12.30pm.

Several of the first team players will be down at the shop on Thursday from 2pm along with club mascot Wrex the Dragon, a perfect chance to get your picture taken with your Wrexham heroes.

Commercial Manager Phil Jones is confident that the shirt will be a huge success, he said: “The kit is superb and just what you’d expect from Adidas, a quality product. Not only do we have a kit to be proud of again, but also an opportunity for fans to buy a new shirt and boost the club’s finances.”

Adidas last supplied Wrexham Football Club back in 1981 and through the glory days of the late seventies.

“Older fans will remember the European campaigns and the glorious promotion year of 1977-78 and how smart the team looked in Adidas kit, something that we all home will spur this new generation on to glory and back into the Football League.

“I’d also like to thank Kevin and the staff at Eagles Meadow for making this launch at the unit possible and we hope that Wrexham fans will give this premier shopping venue a huge boost over the next few days.”
