Thousands of envelopes across Wrexham will be ripped open this morning as students find out the results of their A Levels, with Wrexham Glyndwr University ready to take a call from those looking to study there.

A Levels Results Day can be a scary time. All those months of studying, coursework and exams boil down to the opening of an envelope to see if all the hard work paid off. For those hoping to go to university the experience can be particular daunting, especially if you didn’t get the grade you hoped for or needed to get onto your chosen course.

If you didn’t get the grade you had hoped for, the ‘Clearing’ process will be a new and perhaps a slightly intimidating option when you decide what university to choose.

Throughout the day staff at Wrexham Glyndwr University will be on hand to offer advice and support to anyone who missed the required grades and needs help understanding the Clearing process. There is also a Clearing open day this Saturday for those who want to suss out the campus and facilities.

The hotline for those interested in Clearing at Wrexham Glyndwr University will open at 7am sharp – with staff on hand all the way through until 8pm to answer your queries! The number for the Clearing hotline is 01978 293439.

A short video explaining how the Clearing process works (told from the viewpoint of a graduate who came to university via clearing) can be viewed below:
