Update: Man arrested after police vehicles ‘unusable’ after being damaged outside police station

UPDATE: Police have said a man has been arrested in connection with the incident last night.

Local police said, “Following a social media appeal this morning a male from the area of Rhos has been arrested in relation to the mindless damage to the police vehicles in Rhos last night. He will be interviewed shortly, we are very keen to hear his reasons for causing this damage.”

Police are appealing for information after their vehicles were damaged last night.

The incident took place last night outside the police station in Rhos.

Two police vehicles were damaged and are now ‘unusable’, with local officers saying: “These vehicles will now be unusable until repaired.

“Any information as to the identity of the individual responsible would be greatly appreciated.”

Anyone with information or relevant CCTV should contact police via the 101 number.
