Trains Cancelled Between Wrexham General And Chester

Trains were cancelled between Wrexham General and Chester, initially stated until midday at the earliest.

A signalling problem between Wrexham General and Chester meant that trains are unable to run between the stations.

Network Rail said: “Engineers are on site working to resolve the problem. Apologies for the disruption.”

UPDATE 9:20am: Good news, with a fix in place a couple of hours early! “Trains are now running normally between Wrexham General and Chester following a signalling problem between the stations.”
