Police investigating after reports of an assault in Penycae

North Wales Police are investigating reports of an assault in Penycae.

Police were seen in the area earlier this morning, with one person telling us that an “area near the old golf course had been taped off.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “We are currently investigating a report of an assault in the Penycae area overnight.

“Officers remain at the scene and anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, or via the website, quoting reference A026626.”
