Update: One person taken to hospital after crash on A483 at Ruabon
Update: The Welsh Ambulance Service have confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson said: “We were called this morning, 01 December at approximately 7.22am to reports of a road traffic collision on the Ruabon Bypass, Wrexham.
“We responded with one emergency ambulance and a single patient was conveyed to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for treatment.”
Original: Police have asked drivers to avoid the A483 Northbound at Ruabon following a three vehicle collision.
Emergency service are at the scene of the crash, congestion is just before Halton Roundabout, travel time is quoted at around 20 minute.”

Police tweeted: “A483 Northbound at Ruabon prior to junction 1. We are currently dealing wtih an RTC which is causing a lot of congestion as travelling from Chirk. Please avoid the area, Thank you.”
Latest traffic report states: ‘Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to accident, three vehicles involved on A483 Northbound from J1 A539 to J2 B5426 (Johnstown). Congestion to just before Halton Roundabout. Travel time is around 20 minute.”
