Police Arrest Two Local Men After Abenbury Store Robbery

Police have made arrests following the robbery at the Premier Stores in Tan Y Coed / Abenbury Road area on Friday night.

As we reported on Saturday morning, two men wearing motorcycle helmets the shop, once inside, they threatened two members of staff and demanded money.

Today North Wales Police have said two arrests have been made.

Detective Inspector Arwyn Jones said, “Following Police enquiries at an address on the Caia Park Estate this morning an 18 yr old man and a 36 yr old man were arrested on suspicion of Robbery and are currently at Wrexham Police Station awaiting interview”.

“The investigation is ongoing”.
