Police appeal after cyclist ‘received suspected serious injuries’ after RTC on Ruabon Road

Police are asking “Can you help?” in an appeal after an incident this afternoon.

Local officers said, “We’re appealing for witnesses following an RTC between a car and a pedal cyclist which happened this afternoon around 15.30hrs on the Ruabon Road near Rhostyllen, travelling towards Wrexham.”

The cyclist received suspected serious injuries.

Police say “The driver of the vehicle initially stopped but then left the scene before police arrival”.

Police encourage anyone with any information to get in touch with them via the 101 number quoting Ref B007479.
