A planning application has been put in to turn the former Bumbles Café on Wrexham’s Charles Street into a noodle bar and garden café.

Bumbles was a popular local café and shop until it shut down several years ago.

The unit was then used as an ice cream bar and restaurant but closed after a few months and has stood empty ever since.

Now there are plans to breathe new life into the building with the disused ice cream parlour set to be turned into a noodle bar with garden dining facilities.

If the business should flourish the first floor restaurant will also be converted into a dining area for the noodle bar at a later date.
