The march was led by the Cambria Band and also saw the town’s Mayor and Mayoress and Wrexham FC manager Andy Morrell in attendance.

The event started at 1.30pm from Eagles Meadow with children waving flags, singing songs and playing instruments as they made their way through the shopping centre.

The procession then weaved its way down Smithfield Road, Charles Street, High Street, Hope Street, Regent Street, Egerton Street, Lord Street and Queens Square with parents and shoppers watching on.

As it reached its culmination at Llwyn Isaf outside the Guildhall the crowd were addressed by Mayor Cllr Ian Roberts and to close the events the crowd sang the national anthem Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

Wrexham.com attended the event and took a few pictures from our vantage point on the balcony of Eagle’s Meadow as seen below.
