One Golden ‘Dragonfest’ Ticket Still to Find in Wrexham!

With just over a week to go until Dragonfest arrives in Wrexham there is still the chance for one lucky person to find the last golden ticket!

To coincide with the Dragonfest celebrations at Wrexham Museum on Saturday April 1st, three Golden Dragon Tickets were hidden in limited edition chocolate bars.

The chocolate bars have been on sale for several weeks in outlets across Wrexham County Borough.

Two of the tickets have already been discovered by Rosie Ryder, 9, and Chloe Davies, 7, who will find out which of the three fantastic prizes they have won on April 1st.

With just one ticket left to find Wrexham Museum will continue selling the special chocolate bars in the run up to next weekend’s Dragonfest celebrations.

The three prizes up for grabs are:

Bangor-on-Dee Races Family Day (sponsored by Wrexham Lager, Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, The Buck House Hotel and Wrexham / Prestige Taxis

– A VIP day at the races on May 20th for a family of four.
– Including being picked up and taken to the races by executive car.
– Complimentary race cards and food vouchers.
– Collection from the race to the Buck House in Bangor-on-Dee, for a 3-course meal for all the family, followed by a return journey home.

On Saturday April 1st CADW – the Welsh Government’s historic environment service – will install the colossal Dragon on the Wrexham Museum forecourt.

The event will see CADW – the Welsh Government’s historic environment service – install a colossal Dragon sculpture on the Wrexham Museum forecourt.

The sculpture will be installed in Wrexham to coincide with the 2017 Wales Year of Legends.

Throughout the day visitors to Wrexham Museum will be able to enjoy plenty of activities – including sampling your very own Dragon Pie and a Dragon Egg Hunt. Also be sure to greet the Dragon Keeper to gain your ride on Hemlock to feel as though you are flying your very own dragon.
