Wrexham’s second golden dragon ticket has been found – with just one left to be discovered!

The ticket, which was hidden in one of the special Dragonfest chocolate bars currently on sale in Wrexham, was found by seven year old Chloe Davies from Cefn Mawr.

Chloe was on a family walk in Chirk with her Welsh Collie dog Kip when they called into Café Wylfa in Chirk for drinks.

The family bought lots of chocolate bars and Chloe’s mum was just explaining about the outside chances of winning to Chloe, who is autistic, when she found the winning ticket.

Chloe said: “I am very lucky and would like the Shop ’til you Drop vouchers to spend so I can add to my teddy bear collection”.

However Chloe will have to wait until the Dragonfest event at Wrexham Museum next month to find out which of the three prizes she has won.

The prizes on offer are:

Bangor-on-Dee Races Family Day (sponsored by Wrexham Lager, Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, The Buck House Hotel and Wrexham / Prestige Taxis

– A VIP day at the races on May 20th for a family of four.
– Including being picked up and taken to the races by executive car.
– Complimentary race cards and food vouchers.
– Collection from the race to the Buck House in Bangor-on-Dee, for a 3-course meal for all the family, followed by a return journey home.

Surf Snowdonia Family Surf Day

The chocolate bars are being sold as part of the build-up to Dragonfest, which will take place at Wrexham Museum on Saturday 1st April.

The free event will see CADW – the Welsh Government’s historic environment service – install a colossal Dragon on the Wrexham Museum forecourt.

The sculpture will be installed in Wrexham to coincide with the 2017 Wales Year of Legends.

Throughout the day visitors to Wrexham Museum will be able to enjoy plenty of activities – including sampling your very own Dragon Pie and a Dragon Egg Hunt. Also be sure to greet the Dragon Keeper to gain your ride on Hemlock to feel as though you are flying your very own dragon.
