An advice surgery has been organised to help families in Wrexham being affected by the cost-of-living crisis.

A North Wales Member of the Senedd Llyr Gruffydd, who has organised the sessions in Caia Park and Denbigh said he was very aware of the pressures that families were facing in terms of rising fuel and food bills, the coming hike in energy costs and council tax rises.

The Plaid Cymru MS said: “I’ve organised these surgeries – in the Hub in Denbigh and Caia Park Partnership in Wrexham – so that people can have expert advice from qualified advisors in terms of benefits, housing and the like.

“The Denbigh Hub surgery takes place at 2-4pm on Monday, 14th March and the Wrexham surgery is 12-2pm on Friday, 18th March.

“It’s a very difficult time for many people with bills rising across the board already without the additional uncertainty regarding gas and oil prices due to Ukraine.

“The surgeries are open to all preferably by prior appointment. Please contact my office on to book an appointment at either – 01978 703593 or [email protected].”
