Yesterday evening a motorcycle was believed to have been stolen and then set alight in Caia.

The incident that occurred in the early evening on the fields by Ysgol Morgan Llwyd just off Cefn Road.

Mike Jones, who sent us the above picture, branded the incident “Totally senseless” and said there were “tyre marks all around playing field.”

Police and fire crews from Wrexham attended the incident.

The day before fire crews had been busy with similar mindless behaviour up in Gwersyllt where trees had been set alight, with others reporting bins and fences also going up in flames locally.

On Friday we reported about a car that had been set alight down by Queensway in Caia, again an incident that was believed to be deliberate.
