Founder of award winning bakery showcases her products at Downing Street festive market

The founder of an award winning bakery and bread school recently had the opportunity to showcase her products to the prime minister.

Liz Wilson, of Ma Baker, was one of 12 businesses invited to the attend the Downing Street Festive Food and Drink market last week.

Her products were declared “marvellous” by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who had the opportunity to taste Ma Baker’s award winning porridge bread.

Other cabinet ministers also attended including, Kwasi Kwarteng, George Eustace, Jacob Rees Mogg and Anne-Marie Trevelyan.

After founding the bakery and bread school in London, Liz is a new resident of North Wales having relocated to the village of Overton-on-Dee.

Ma Baker is now open for click and collect bread orders and will be opening her bread school in the New Year.
