It seems farm fire season is in full swing as there was another this morning in the Wrexham area. A little earlier this morning a 999 call was made from Wilkinson Business Park reporting an ‘out of control’ fire on an adjacent field. Onlookers reported that what looked to be a controlled fire had spread to set alight nearby trees. Smoke and debris billowed across Wilkinson Business Park however a prompt arrival from the fire service significantly appeased any major concerns of nearby office workers.

Concerns continued into the following day however, when the fire service were once again called out to deal with the same fire that had spread beyond the scope of the previous day. Though the fire was not directly threatening inhabitants of the area, strong winds meant firemen had to respond promptly and deal with the escalating circumstances.

Since Thursday morning no additional problems have been noted.
