A house has been broken into on the Fairways estate yesterday, around 400 meters away from a similar burglary last week.

The incident occurred on Forrest Pines in the Fairways Estate, and follows on from two similar incidents last week on The Links in the Goulbourne.

Thieves gained access to the property via patio doors, with the kitchen window also being broken. Items were stolen, with a set of car keys taken, although no vehicle has been reported missing.

Anyone with information regarding the above break in is urged to call police via their 101 number, referencing S191156

Last night we also had reports of a small group in the back garden of a house near Rhosnesni Lane, police appear to have been patrolling the area, but it does not appear to be in related to a specific incident.

Last week police issued a warning and some helpful tips to secure homes and keep things out of sight – you can read it here.
