Last night we reported on a collision in Caia, with emergency services closing a road off.

This morning the Welsh Ambulance Service has told us: “We were called at shortly before 7.30pm yesterday evening (Monday 8 January) to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car on Queensway in Wrexham.”

“We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and a boy was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital in a stable condition.”

Information from last night is viewable here.

Thanks to Ryan for the top picture from last night’s road closure.
