Emergency services in attendance at Queensway incident

Emergency services are currently in attendance at an accident at Queensway.

Update: We are told someone has been ‘hit by a car’, the Welsh Ambulance Service responded with an ambulance and a response vehicle. Thankfully we are told the injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road is open again for traffic.

The accident has reportedly taken place between Montgomery Road / Smithfield Road and Whitegate Road – with the road closed near Queensway Stadium.

Andrew said: “Police blocking Queensway from roundabout by Sports Centre and more blue lights where River Gwenfro goes under the road.”
