For the second time in 24 hours queues northbound on the A483 towards Chester are back to the border sign and growing due to the ‘Posthouse’ roadworks.

Yesterday we reported how similar queues meant that people took around two hours to travel the five mile distance, with Bank Holiday Monday traffic being blamed as the cause.

As of 10:30am today the queues have been replicated, and we are told have grown since rush hour just after 8am.

Currently there are no warning signs on the approach to the Rossett junction warning of issues, however there is a sign on the old Wrexham Road pointing people away from Rossett on to the A483 as a ‘diversion’.
