Yesterday Arriva announced they were in talks with councils across Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire to see what services they could take over. Details of which services have been confirmed so far can be found here.

Arriva have also confirmed that they will be accepted weekly GHA Coaches tickets until they expire.

A statement released by Wrexham Council says: “With regard to the regional transport services previously provided by GHA Coaches we continue to work in partnership with other authorities and transport companies across the region to mitigate the disruption to services which will inevitably happen.

“We are doing everything we can to minimise this disruption, however, the loss of such a major transport operator will inevitably have consequences for the immediate future.”
