TimRegencyParticipant
Meant to say earlier, how long before we see Atherton, in full NHS nurse uniform, undertaking photo opportunity to show she is doing her bit.
Then slipping out the backdoor.
The real NHS heroes don’t even have proper protective gear against novel coronavirus thanks to the Tory “government.”

TimRegencyParticipant
It is pathetic that at this time people still attribute everything to politics. Some very sad people about.
Politics affects everything. Vote Tory, get austerity cuts to everything. Including your precious road drains. 10 years of Tory cuts to the NHS equals limited capacity.
What do you think that means? Take a look at Italy.
Oh, you’ll never learn. Bye.
TimRegencyParticipantIt’s called ‘psychological projection.’
TimRegencyParticipantMore:
“the most effective way to prevent infections & save lives is breaking chains of transmission…to do that, you must test & isolate.
You cannot fight a fire blindfolded. And we cannot stop this pandemic if we don’t know who is infected”
[WHO Director Gen Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus]
TimRegencyParticipantIf you try typing ‘how to tell if I have a fever’ into a search engine, there’s some advice about checking for high temperature without a thermometer eg via other symptoms, such as sweating and dehydration.
I agree on the testing:
“We have a simple message for all countries – test, test, test.”
~ Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesu, WHO Director General
TimRegencyParticipant
What would your view be? Atherton won’t let babies back to their parents – she’s forced them to become orphans. It doesn’t get any lower or more disgustingly racist than that does it?
It does get lower, actually, as she’s an ex nurse and social worker who ought to know much better.
When you become a nurse, for example, you sign up to the oath ‘above all do no harm.’
By becoming a Tory MP and doing things like taking sides against learning disabled people who just want a supported home, Ms Atherton sprays harm around and has therefore flushed her principles down the toilet.
TimRegencyParticipantShame. The police station being brought down by detonation would have been a very ‘arresting’ spectacle.

TimRegencyParticipantA dumb policy, but introducing it a year before elections is dumber.
TimRegencyParticipant
Strange how “Llayby lilly is spouting cliams but not providing any evidence to back them up.
Anyone can claim this, that and the other but without factual information to back up a claim the comments are irrelevant.
Lilly and facts are like oil and water.
TimRegencyParticipantWell, the ONS say that a person need only work one hour a fortnight to be counted as employed.
Then there’s zero hours contracts (which I understand comes to 1.4 million,) fake or very limited self-employment and pay so low that the person still needs to visit food banks. I thought work was supposed to be a ‘route out of poverty’?
I have also read that people in training or similar are also counted, but would need to verify that.
So I’ll be taking claims of a Tory jobs miracle with a spadeful of salt.
Besides, as Derek pointed out, these jobs need to be filled now, we can’t wait for different people to be trained up.
