£10 million is a drop in the ocean. Its about time the welsh government realised the north exists. When you come out of Cardiff and go up the heads of the valley roads life exists after Merthyr! Not just were those marvellous dual carriage ways end!! We need the welsh development grants back! After losing them years back we have seen Fibreglass,Tetrapack , part of BICC and Kelloggs disappear! These are the blue chip companies and major employers that keep the smaller firms on the industrial estate. Not enough being done for North East wales!!

I am in total agreement with WREXVIEW. Dont get me wrong im not a v8 rangerover driver by anymeans. My problem is the cost involved with owning these cars. How can they justify the original costs involved,of course the carbon footprint is reasonably low for getting around but the cost of manufacturing these vehicles and especially the batteries doesn’t make sense. The one thing we can guarantee is that the council vehicles will not travel more than 50miles per day as that is all they will do in realistic conditions. Not allot if they are supposed to be visiting different projects throughout the day!Another white elephant which will be added to our council tax next year!
