LocalGuyParticipantas an animal lover ( not in that way my friend). I am forced to agree with you, the harmful and shameful way in which our canine or, indeed, feline friends and treated is appalling.
shame on you Mr Jones. If I were to poison your hamster, you would not like it!
apart from that, Llay is going to the dogs and should be bulldozed to make way for a new town called Cefn-y-Wrexham.
this could be used to house decent folk like Mr Fag and his kind.
LocalGuyParticipantI really think that we are missing the whole point. we are just about to usher in a new era for Llay and the doomsayers want to block it. the typical age of a homeowner in Chester is 24.. in Cheltenham it is 19.
home is where the heart is, and I for 1 think about the people in power trying to block this, “Who’s in the House?”
LocalGuyParticipantshould you be speaking this way?
LocalGuyParticipantAnd the Businessmen who do… potentially 700 employees
LocalGuyParticipantHaving Listened for some time without comment to both parties concerning this matter, I conclude that Mr Fag is correct, in that The “Captain” has nothing but contemptible thoughts for anyone who is not inextricably linked to his (or her) thought processes. I firmly believe now that I am in the Fag camp and will be presenting my dossier to the council as planned, highlighting the pros for this rave undertaking and noting, in full, the negativity of people such as MR CAPTAIN and others of his type. I too remember the days of the Llay Miners Welfare institute in those days and the negative attitude of staff to clientèle. I worked there myself for a short time and was subject to the miserable attitude of some of the staff, especially long standing members.
may I say Fag of She’e or whatever you call yourself, you make a good case, have you ever considered a career in politics? or maybe a business career in a big city, perhaps Glasgow or London? Many thanks for giving me a platform for opinion, democracy is not dead, well not in some cases.
LocalGuyParticipantCaptain, have you started a facebook campaign yet? also a twitter campaign?
I think the medium of social media is one which can not be denied it’s place in social campaigning. I can safeley say that in 2007, the campaign i had for real English in the M4 corridor had an impact on the residents. I do not, of course live in that area, not am I English. I was doing it as a favour for a fellow campaigner and this helped a whole community by facilitating the launch of a grammar school and lessons for people who’s English was, shall wew say, not at it’s best.Sheefag —- Do you think you could give your input on a campaign? as you seem really to be just someone who has an opinion and not really a foul, Benzedrine puff adder, pushing poison wherever you go.
Captain —- would you back a Facebook page to campaign in the interest of Local residents, we would see how many exactly are on our side then.
LocalGuyParticipanthold on though, how do you know this is the same guy? is it possible that you may be getting his identity confused with that of a similarly interested party and therefore tarring him with the brush of bigottism that is so rife in village life, do you know that I fell foul of that kind of conclusion jumping and, i can tel you, it is not the way forward. Since we are on the subject though, tell me Mr sheefag, what exactly is your interest in the Village of Llay? do you even come from the area? I was Born in the area and have lived there fo a long time, I admit i moved away due to overcrowding but i still love the old Place.
LocalGuyParticipantI firmly believe that extra houses is not the solution. you need to provide the existing residents some kind of improvement to the existing village life. as my father used to say, As I have overheard in a Strasbourg restaurant, Magna Carta is a square peg in a round hole.
LocalGuyParticipantname and shame… I would be interested to see who this is as i have a business interest in Llay and the other two areas
LocalGuyParticipantShefag – don’t you think you are being a bit harsh on Catpain C as you do not know his age or circumstances, I feel that he has a valid point and a right to that point and, by the way, are you local? and are you working? this has a bearing on your attitude to local issues concerning those who fought for the right of freedom of speech.
I am a local person speaking for local people, I think that i speak for all who live in the Llay area when i say that you are sounding like a wailing BANSHEE when you rant on at this poor chap
