And all of this on top of what are probably the two busiest roundabouts in Wrexham, with cars constantly accelerating and braking and hence causing more pollution than those tootling along at a constant speed on the bypass. Yep slow, slow clap for the Welsh government

Surely locking up the drug addicts is treating the symptom and not the root cause. It is the drug dealers which need to be targeted.
It’s they who take advantage of the weak and vulnerable and people at their lowest ebb. This is where any member of society can find themselves given the right set of circumstances.
Lock up the dealers and treat the addicts (like we do for any other addiction) to break the cycle.

    Now where’s me sandals?

I have to agree that Wrexham’s grittters are a step above other local councils.
I work in Telford and driving back home Thursday night was pretty hairy. The M54 and A5 were pretty horrendous and almost totally impassable in places, with not a single gritter in sight.
However as I got to the Halton roundabout there was a dramatic improvement in the roads (though still snowy) and within a couple of hundred yards I was met by a grittier coming the other way.
    Well done Wrexham gritters

I say no to this. A new centre in town to look after strays will just encourage more homeless moggies to swamp the town.
Before you know it they’ll be sniffing catnip on street corners, chasing toy mice around eagles meow sorry meadow and be licking their backsides and rolling around in the sun all over Queens square.

Bring the kerbs in to narrow the road and double white lines all the way from Gledrid to Halton with CCTV to catch muppets who still want to overtake. Much like the muppet in the Audi at quarter to 6 this morning who wanted to overtake the wagon in front even though the opposing lane was shut, double white lines and no overtaking signs.
