Well you can say what you like about the Council’s Gritters – and I’m sure you will – but fair play to them, facing some treacherous conditions this morning, clearing up the roads ensuring the public can go about their business with little or no disruption. If you think I’m wrong, venture further a field into Flintshire, the main roads are crap and the least said about the A55 the better!
Wrexham boys, I take my cap off to you sirs!

I could not agree more. No problems getting to work and back.
    Thank you WCBC!

I have to agree that Wrexham’s grittters are a step above other local councils.
I work in Telford and driving back home Thursday night was pretty hairy. The M54 and A5 were pretty horrendous and almost totally impassable in places, with not a single gritter in sight.
However as I got to the Halton roundabout there was a dramatic improvement in the roads (though still snowy) and within a couple of hundred yards I was met by a grittier coming the other way.
    Well done Wrexham gritters

I totally agree. The Council have done a great job at keeping the main roads open and have had no issue going to work. A bit tricky making my way to the main road but I fully understand that the main roads are a priority.

Congratulations to the Council and the Gritter crews on a job well done 👍🏻
