there’s only a few feet difference between the Parish church and the police station.

Paris doesn’t seem to have had a problem with having only a few high rise buildings (nearly all of them in La Defénse). I think up until recently, the only two it ever had outside of LD were the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty (obviously now situated in New York.)

Wrexham needs a few more 4 or 5 story buildings or blocks that are a combination of social housing, offices and shops … that’s all.

TWrexham hasn’t got the population for high rise buildings, never mind the domestic product or domestic product potential to have a need for high rise buildings whether for residential or business. It would be folly (if you pardon the pun) to have any built.

Leaving aside the issues about location and planning etc, the arrival of Majestics and now Real China is some positive news. The fact that two national/semi-national chains, other than low end budget outlets, believe they can run successfully here can only be a good thing..

Apparently the restaurant is going to be below the bowling and Odeon, a Chinese buffet.

Seems like a good idea. Have been to similar and it’s really good if it’s an all you can eat buffett.

This is great news. I just hope it’s good value for money unlike Frankie & Bennys! We used to love this place but recently the quality has dropped, had a pizza there recently that was more like a pancake! Not a bit of bread in sight and it cost £12. Last time we eat there!
