‘Thick Black Smoke’ Near The A483

‘Thick black smoke’ was seen near the A483 this morning.

Shortly before 7:30am there were reports locally of smoke and a fire being seen near the retail park on Berse Road / towards the A483.

It has since been confirmed that fire crews were called to a fire in the open on Berse Road shortly before 7:15am this morning.

The fire had spread to two nearby trees – however it has since been extinguished.
