Emergency services are on the scene of a crash that has closed New Road this morning.

Update 8:30am, PC Hough has tweeted the below, the road remains closed.

PC Thomas Hough said the road is currently closed, with diversions through Osbourne Road and East Avenue.

Police and the ambulance service are attending.
