Being almost wiped out by a pratt driver in a chelsea tractor this morning who was in the right hand lane but wanted to head for chester ( i was in the middle lane to go to gresford) i can now say that without better signage for all gresford roundabout has now oficially become a driving deathtrap.

Our council leader says no major works to be done the chief officer says the work was programmed so who is telling porkies with regards to this.
It seems once again this well run council has dropped a ballock and I assume that the trend will continue until such time that the management structure (councillors) is changed dramatically, one can hope but then again?.
So as our money again has been spent so well will we now see an increase in the parking charges that have been implemented to those officers and councillors that use this area to park their cars up from approx £0.39 per day to a more realistic cost or will the ‘financial hardship’ tag still be played upon, should I even have mentioned increasing parking charges as it appears to be a big no no in the corridors of power in this council, all I can say is tough.

All smiles pats on back for the few, and goodie bags for all what next OBE’s MBE’s or whatever this must be a sign for city status to be once again pushed to the fore by the ‘z’ listers and the like and the rest who wish to elevate themselves so far up the ladder that their shiny arses will disappear into the clouds.
It is like the film ‘Field of Dreams’ if the build it they will come and as we have seen the crowds have flocked into the town to visit this building in their masses.
Still as long as the council tax payers keep funding this project those who pushed it through both past and present do not give a toss just keep digging deeper and deeper into your pockets and bank accounts so that those in power can look oh so good and spout on about this that and the other.

Reading the article all I can see is that we (those that pay council tax) will be hit again and again and again, it is now becoming a never ending circle of increased charges to us for this that and the other I wonder when charging us for the very air that we breathe will be put on the table to be discussed as a revenue earner.
Also any and all increases implemented seem to be far greater than the ‘cost of living increases’ we receive which one has to assume has an effect on our existing quality of life.
When will this vicious circle end as I can only see the ability to keep paying any and all increases to become a major burden around the neck for a number of individuals.
In my own case on a fixed income (no excessive spending people) and with more prudent fiscal planning I should be able to pay any and all bills for the coming year of 2019/2020 but I have to say for the following years who knows.

The charge of approx £0.39 per day to park is aimed at not being and I quote ‘ too much of a financial burden ‘ to these individuals poor sods.
At least Flintshire charges £0.50 per day to park at Shirehall so one has to ask who the hell came up with £0.39.
Meanwhile all the rest of us have to pay the going rate so I have to assume that it is no financial burden for us.
Its just another bad decision by this mickey mouse council who seem to not see the wood for all the trees around and once again they appear to be looking a after themselves.
I just wish they would stop looking through rose tinted glasses thinking that they know what is best for all the rest of us.
On a side note the roads in the county are a disgrace with pot holes everywhere we now drive, so it would be nice for a list complied by this council to show us where rectification works on these pot holes are taking place so we all know where our council tax is being spent or would this be giving too much information to joe public.

Permanent staff costs of £258k how many staff have they got and who’s having a laugh at our expense oh its the councillors past and present who pushed this project through.
Council tax payers will have to suck it up and continue to go with the flow as we all know it makes sense and as this council built/refurbished the premises the crowds flocked in and continue to do so if we listen to our learned councillors and officers who have their fingers on the pulse.
I can think of one councillor who should stand at the main entrance in his finery ringing a bell and providing commentary as to why a visit to this attraction is so worthwhile.

Either up to a 5% council tax increase or a 6% council tax increase (I think it will be 6%) and we have yet to wait how much the police precept will be on top plus an increase in the community council charges.
Yes its such a joy to pay more and see less and poorer services, who wins certainly not the public.

What can you expect from this mickey mouse council its slowly being run into the ground by the nest of vipers running the whole thing, everything they do now seems to be all smoke and mirrors we have 52 councillors yet 42 look as if they have no say on anything, democracy and an open door policy is not in the brief of the ‘scooby gang’ at the top of the tree.
These individuals must be taking mind altering drugs or they seem to be not in the real world as the rest of us.

Well we can all see that come April the council tax payers will be digging deeper and deeper into their pockets and purses and does everybody find it strange that all the north wales councils have been hit harder than the majority of those councils in south wales I wonder if it is because north wales is such an area of mystery to the majority of those learned persons sitting in the senedd and the ‘valleys’ and such must be protected as much as possible.
On financial matters the North/South divide just seems to be there far all to see, will it change probably not so I welcome you all to rip off Wales within the ever increasing circle of rip off Britain run by Penelope Pittstop and her squabbling gang. (sorry went off on a bit of a tangent there).

Well Cllr David A Bithell what a comment to make which shows what most of us thought, it has become a special club run by dumb/dumber and the rest of the gang you should hang your head in shame and apologize with regards to your comment made.
I think its about time that this so called executive board is disbanded as they seem to be about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
