Idris, this racist rant is becoming a tiresome now. I suggest you do some research into Poles in Wrexham before you come on here spouting shite. Look up Penley and the Polish hospital, look up the Polish pilots in WW11.
Polish people have been in Wrexham since the 1940’s. Take a look into the history of Italians in Wrexham. Once they were looked at with suspicion. The Portuguese cafes in Wrexham have become a vibrant part of town, try visiting one and chat to the people there. Wrexham is a much more pleasant town FOR the immigration.

votethecouncillorsout. You seem to have an agenda against Ty Pawb judging by the amount of bad posts you’ve been giving it. care to share it with the rest of us?

Congratulations Idris. Probably the stupidest quote of the year so far.

It is becoming more and more obvious that the one thing Wrexham needs is more ‘arts’. However I do think that looking at the philistines who comment on here all we are doing is casting pearls before swine. Get involved in the arts. Support Ty Pawb. After all, the clue’s in the name.

Not Wrexham – it’s down in that Cardiff.

That’s exactly what happens with my prescription – I’m given six at a time covering six months. Then I have a review and get another six months. It already happens in Wales so I’m not sure what your point is.

Don’t forget ‘Dumplings’ on Charles Street. Lovely Polish grub.
Apart from anything else where is the industry? Where are the inhabitants of these new properties going to work? Wrexham, the largest? town in North Wales hasn’t even got a direct rail link to the capital city.
What utter tosh. I think you’ll find the 18.40 today is a direct rail link. It’s gets into Cardiff Central at 21.45.

And in answer to your original question. Yes. Good shop on the corner of Charles Street where the Feathers used to be. Cracking Portuguese caff next to Nat West on Lord Street as well as the one in Hightown. Same as any other shops and caffs – if they’re good and they have what you want you use them. Mind you Asda is one of them foreign shops. US company, like Starbucks and Mc Donalds gosh Wrexham is full of foreign shops!

There used to be a Polish deli on Yorke street in the 60’s. Can’t understand why people wouldn’t use a Polish shop, lovely cured meats!
As for the rumours about the Hightown Portuguese café not serving not Portuguese customers. Pure racist cobblers.
Support your local shopkeepers.
