Do you happen to know which Rhosrobin development? As there’s quite a few planning applications for Rhosrobin been submitted over the past few months.

[quote quote=99940]Woogleeye is right, the Guildhall car park remains closed to the public five days a week, the potential income lost runs into thousands per year. Again essential services are being cut to the bone when an asset is being under used . Why do the Council still allow this to happen ? Councillors legally would be allowed to claim their parking charges but perhaps some would appreciate that their generous salary would more than cover the extra expenditure!

Walked past Guildhall car park shortly before 1pm – very few cars parked in there!

[quote quote=97400]I had assumed that the new Aldi would replace the existing one, like when Iceland moved to island green.
Do the planning documents say that they are keeping both stores?

I think they’ve recently given the store a refurb / new signage on Plas Coch – so imagine that store will remain open and is doing pretty well :)

I’ve had a similar experience – went into a store in town to buy something, thought it was a bit pricey so checked online when I got home and was 30% cheaper along with free delivery for click and collect.

Unsure how or even why that’s the way it is for some retailers!

Just a reminder this is taking place tomorrow between 2 and 4pm. Already had a lot of questions submitted via various channels and we will try fit in all questions in the two hour period :)

The new meeting times for the June meetings have been popped online – seems to be the busiest month of meetings for a while. Fair bit of scrutiny!

Does look like having two meetings so close together on the same day could result in cllrs / public missing the start of end of some meetings if they over run and they want to sit in on both.

Tomorrow’s meeting is listed as being webcast – Mayoral ceremony this afternoon sadly wasn’t. Especially since the councillors bring out their finest robes for the occasion.

The Full Council & Mayor Making are to be webcast next week – hopefully lots of people tune in to see what councillors have to say about the change. Know several aren’t happy with the proposed changes. Could make for an interesting debate.

Been told by someone who works nearby that it’s not closing, just change of ownership.

Some interesting ideas on the Facebook thread – roof and cheaper car parking seem to be preferred options!
