I agree that parents have responsibility but if Cllr Rogers is right and they have come from other villages then they may be the feral kids that were causing a nuisance a couple of weeks ago in Southsea and Wrexham.
Is a perk not something that is available to some but not everyone- it does not necessarily mean every employee in Wrexham Council takes up the offer but have access-
1. Leisure Centre membership has always been less for Council employees compared with the general public when run by the Council – unsure if this carried forward to the Freedom contract.
2. Drinks Vending machines providing free drinks – do they still exist in any offices
There are no issues regarding Cycle to Work and Childcare Voucher schemes as these are open to all employers to offer employees and the funding is via the tax man.There is a really good reason why this has happened — its election year in 2017!!
Look at the figures for litter fines for dog mess Esclusham is one of the highest — which ptobably equates to more visits — oh yes its Clr Mark Pritchards Ward – Leader of the Council – as a proportion of out of town time for the Enforcement officers are/why does Esclusham have the most hours?

the deabate (if that’s what you can call it) all takes place before the public meeting and the other 40 odd Councillors have no chance of changeing a recomendation. It is dictatorial politics with only one way — my may (in this casec The Leader of the Council).Have you not heard of freedom of choice — you could have left or not bothered to buy anything- where the things over priced or are you Scrooge!
Bah HumbugThe ratio must have been about 15 fans to every Police Officer– Alexandra School car park was packed with Police officers and theiur transport at 9.00am–
Assuming the Chester fans all came by bus 500 equals only about 15 coaches nit the largest number of problem fans-
Do rate payers have to pay for the out of ground Police or is it the responsability of the Football Club
One of the problems with the people who are being seen as ‘drunk/spaced out’ is that there are younger and younger people being involved and are new to this type of activity. You don’t need to look far on the streets of Wrexham now identify young people (under 18’s) who clearly under the influence. The change to making Legal Highs doesn’t seem to have had any impact other than increase the numbers (or made them more visible).
How many people have seen someone walking down the street and suddenly slump and then carry on about 10 minutes later — this is an effect of NPS “Illegal High” — if you haven’t seen anyone look closely next time you are in town they are all around you.
This craze is now something done in private but part of some peoples every day life– solutions required now. Remember all of these people are brothers/sisters, sons /daughters, aunties/uncles — get the message the problem could be in anyone’s family..An indirect funding issue is where in earth are we going to find sufficient workers to be taxed to feed the UK system in the first place. The figures below quite clearly show a reduction in the working age population and a massive increase in the retired population of 65 plus. Aa a country we are not self sufficient for the number of people needed to keep out society in Wales sustainable- if our Migrant workforce decided to leave then we are doomed as any form of independent country. It wont be the EU we are looking for handouts by the UK – this is on one occasion the vote out have failed our future generations — your children and grand children.

Mrs Crewe you clearly have had the ‘pleasure’ of handling EU funding- I fully agree that the administrative nature of such funds is at best a joke and worst is farcical- their are bureaucrats that must be paid specifically to develop red tape. That said as I posted earlier there has been substantially more coming into Wales than we have contributed so we are a net gainer- with the funding going to be administered by Westminster my fear will not be driven by actual need in Wales but based on how much we contribute to the pot determines how much we get out – this will undoubtedly be negative ratio.
Reduce the red tape and still have the same funding would be the ideal..
Your point over the shame of still receiving EU funding due to the lack of improvement in poverty can equally be said about Communities First funding in Caia Park and Plas Madoc — millions and millions poured in yet we still have the same families being ‘beneficiaries’ — the sad thing is that over 30 years of investment and the same family names are still on the books of professionals as needing help… and taking up column inches in newspaper court reports when they have been to court. Again!! (sorry for generalisation and O fully acknowledge that the majority of families in Caia and Plas Madoc are good law abiding and not a drain on the system)
