I have spent today in Northwich, what a soulless ,dirty and decayed town. How lucky we are here in Wrexham to have a town with a heart and new developments that lead to it. Our streets are clean and green areas well maintained. We have a good mix of small businesses, national chains, restaurants, bars and entertainments. The people of Wrexham care about their town and work to present it in the best light, the refurbishment of St Giles church gates is an example. Our Council is situated in the centre of the town too and is well placed to react to the town’s needs. Sometimes you have to leave a place before you appreciate what you have on your doorstep!

That is such a good point… the grass isn’t always greener and we are all guilty of becoming blinkered in our view of where we live/work.
