Over a year ago Wrexham Council listened to local businesses and kept their free on street parking for just that reason.Short stay on street parking encourages people to ” pop to the shops”. Perhaps Mr. Pickles should also look at Wrexham’s free after noon parking too!

It is ridiculous that anyone making a delivery to a construction site in the middle of a town or city should be covered by the same parking restrictions as any other motorist. In the major cities, parking attendants hide around the corner ready to pounce. Construction materials etc are often heavy &/or cumbersome but there is no common sense applied.

I’m afraid local authorities and common sense part company when the chance of easy money comes along, or so it seems to me.
