Confusion Over Town Centre Forum Markets Consultation Response

I am confused

Having attended the Town Centre Forum meetings for several years I have always taken the view that the Forum is…a forum. I was not aware that the Forum placed Resolutions on the table, that such Resolutions were voted upon and that there was some sort of Executive component available to carry it out. It is….as the label on the can suggests…a forum

Within the Forum, views are expressed. Some resonate well with the Forum members, some are taken up by the Council (some are not), some provide information to the various individuals attending. I suspect that at times there is a consensus in the Forum (though because no one votes on anything it is impossible to know), at times there is not. The Forum (as such) cannot have a view on something, though attendees can
