Wrexham Symphony Orchestra are celebrating their 50th Birthday with a party and concert on Sunday November 3rd 2019 at the William Aston Hall in Wrexham. It is a whole family Sunday afternoon concert commencing at 3.30pm. The music programme includes music from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Swan Lake and many others in the 2019 Classic FM Hall of Fame. Soloists Tom Blomfield (Oboe) and Sophie Rosa (Violin) will join us to perform two wonderful pieces…. Richard Strauss’s Oboe Concerto and Vaughan Williams ‘The Lark Ascending’ which is the No 1 in the Hall of Fame. There will be treats for children and a large birthday cake.
