One of Wrexham’s Indoor Markets has been closed until later on this week.

The General Market, which is located just off Henblas Street will be closed until Thursday 15th January.

Earlier this morning a message was posted on the General Market’s Facebook Page (viewed here) stating: “The General Market is closed until Thursday! Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

When we walked past the market earlier this morning, all shutters on the doors were closed and there were a few people nosing to see what was going on. Signs were also placed on the entrances reiterating the message posted on their Facebook Page.

A spokesperson for Wrexham Council said: “The General Market is closed due to personal circumstances and will reopen on Thursday.”
