Wrexham Musical Theatre Society will return to the stage this summer with its first musical in 17 years.

The group will stage a production of ‘The Mad Ones’ at Grove Park Theatre on Saturday 1 June at 7:30pm.

‘The Mad Ones’ is a one act musical by Kate Kerrigan and Bree Lowdermilk telling a coming of age story that explores how quickly your plans for the future can change due to one sudden event.

Do you take the path most planned, or follow your heart down the less travelled road? A retrospective look of the last year leads Sam to question everything she’s planned so far and really ask “What do you want Sam?”.

Open auditions for the production will be held on Thursday 28 March at 7:15pm and Saturday 30 March at 12:30 – at the Community Room, Tesco LL13 8HF.

Anyone interested in auditioning is encouraged to get in touch with [email protected]
