Wrexham Libraries together with libraries across the UK are launching a promotion to help make international bestselling and award-winning novelist David Baldacci a top 10 most borrowed author from public libraries. Publishers, library staff and reading and literacy campaigners are working to get him challenging some of the biggest-name authors including James Patterson, at the top of the ratings. A unique new partnership project created by The Reading Agency and Pan Macmillan will see participating libraries being equipped with marketing materials (including posters, bookmarks and newsletters) plus 100 copies of David Baldacci books for each library authority, as well as review postcards for readers to complete upon returning borrowed Baldacci books to the library.

A spokesperson from Wrexham Library said “This is where the library needs your help! Wrexham, Cefn Mawr and Llay libraries need to create readers review boards to stand a chance of winning a prize, so please visit one of these libraries and pick up your Baldacci today.”
