Wrexham Civic Society announces “Wrexham, The Racecourse and Wales in 10 Objects”

The Wrexham Area Civic Society will is to host a talk entitled “Wrexham, The Racecourse and Wales in 10 Objects”.

It will be given by Mr. Nick Jones, Football Museum Officer at Wrexham County Borough Council, on Thursday 18 May.

The recent purchase of the club by Hollywood celebrities, together with the recent successful season resulting in the team’s promotion, has resulted in much football fever in Wrexham, and has generated many column inches in the national press.

In addition, the Welsh national football museum is soon to be located in Wrexham, within the museum on Regent Street.

The meeting will be held in St. Giles’ Parish Church, in the South aisle, on Thursday 18th May, 2023, and will commence at 7.30pm.

Entrance to the talk is free for all to attend.
