A Cancer Research charity shop in Wrexham Town Centre has been broken into.

North Wales Police were called to the charity shop at 8:25 this morning following reports of a break in.

Currently there are no details available on what was taken from the store, however North Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating the burglary.

The shop is still open for business and trading today.

Back in July the Cancer Research shop was victim to criminal damage, after the main shop window was left shattered overnight.

The window itself received a large amount of damage, with the incident resulting in the entire window front being boarded off.
