Wrexham bingo player wins life changing £50,000!

It was a moment to remember for one lucky Wrexham bingo player who recently claimed a life changing £50,000.

The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, was enjoying an evening out at Mecca Bingo Wrexham when all his numbers came up and the night took an unexpected turn as he called ‘house’.

The prize-winner, who has been playing at Mecca Bingo Wrexham for over 20 years, successfully claimed the club prize and a whopping £50,000, 30-years after winning £28,000 at Mecca Bingo Wrexham in the early 1990’s.

The lucky National Game Bingo winner said: “I was so overwhelmed when I realised I had won the jackpot.

“I’ve been playing at the club forever it’s a fantastic place. It was such an exciting experience, the club was buzzing and everyone cheered and congratulated me.”

The second-time jackpot winner plans to treat himself to a new, more manageable car and a holiday to Blackpool with his winnings.

Mike Etherington, general manager at Mecca Wrexham, said: “It’s such a fantastic moment when someone calls house on the National Bingo Game. We’re absolutely thrilled for the winner, £50,000 is an incredible prize amount.

“The atmosphere in club was brilliant, it’s a pleasure to see someone win big – we’re delighted.”
