Two colleagues from Wrexham are set to take on a half marathon this weekend in aid of a local hospice.

Paul Jones and Carl Brown, who have worked together for over 10 years at Cable Services, are both established runners and have been for a number of years.

After having marathons cancelled this year due to the pandemic, they decided to run a half marathon locally to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice.

The hospice has been severely impacted by the pandemic after its fundraising events were cancelled.

On Sunday 13 September the pair will run 13.1miles to fundraise for Nightingale House.

The route will see them start from the NEW Cable Services Group Head Office on the Wrexham Industrial Estate, before running a loop round to the Old offices at Rhosddu Industrial Estate and finish back at the NEW building.
