Yesterday evening we had reports of police activity in and over Erddig.

Locally rumours surfaced that a woman had been sexually assaulted by two men as she walked her dog. One eyewitness said they saw one person in handcuffs with police, and the police teams carried on searches after this apparent arrest.

We attempted to discover more overnight, but were unable to officially confirm what had occurred.
