A woman has been charged with drink driving after crashing into someone’s garden over the weekend.

The incident took place at 11:08pm on Saturday night in the Caia Park area.

The owner of the property told Wrexham.com that the driver crashed through two metal fences and “just missed my four year old son’s bedroom.”

Although the driver did not hit the house, we’re told that she had ‘driven across the garden’ – and images of the damage taken the next day indicated the force of the impact:

Police have since been confirmed that the woman was breathalysed at the scene and was later charged.

She is due to appear in court this week.
