A woman has been involved in a collision with a bus on King Street.

Emergency services were called to King Street just after 3pm to attend an incident involving a woman and a bus.

One onlooker told Wrexham.com that an elderly lady had been hit on a shop mobility scooter by a bus. We have spoken to North Wales Police, who have confirmed they attended an incident, but not these details.

The road remains open however an ambulance is in attendance. The extent of the injuries are currently unknown.

We have also been told that the ambulance had trouble getting past the buses / through the traffic, with reports that buses were knocking into each other as they tried to make space.

Anecdotally we are aware that this particular junction has a bad reputation.

Local residents have contacted us before regarding the road, with one person telling us that: “It often feels unsafe crossing the road, vehicles don’t always indicate when using the turn in by the Co-op.”

We have tried to contact the Ambulance service for more detail.
