Woman hospitalised following collision on Holt Road

A person has been taken to hospital following a crash in Wrexham late last night.

The incident, which involved a car and a pedestrian, took place outside the Hand Inn on Holt Road at 10:25pm.

We’re told that a number of emergency services vehicles were in the area, with police cars blocking off Holt Road in both directions and near the junction to Hullah Lane.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday (Tuesday July 10, 2018) at approximately 10.25pm to reports of road traffic accident involving a car and a pedestrian on Holt Road in Wrexham.

“We responded with one emergency ambulance, where a female patient was taken to Maelor General Hospital, Wrexham.”
