A woman has died following a fatal collision involving a tractor last night.

North Wales Police are investigating the collision involving a tractor on agricultural land on the outskirts of Corwen shortly after 8pm on Sunday evening.

A spokeswoman for North Wales Police confirmed emergency services were called shortly after 8pm last night, however ‘sadly a female driver was pronounced dead at the scene’.

The spokeswoman added: “The Health and Safety Executive and the Coroner have been informed.”

The North East Wales Search and Rescue team were also involved in assisting police last night, with a short statement placed online this morning that says they were called out to help with ‘recovery of deceased casualty from tractor incident near Corwen’, adding their condolences to the family.
